"New" part of menus are changed
I have changed the "New" part of the book menus. Now you will find a link
to a "What's New" page for the category you are looking at. The general
"New Books" page is stil there (but it is too long ,..). I am removing the
"New" section on the individual pages, to make them shorter and easier to
navigate. See for instance

While reading this site a joke I once heard came to mind:
QST.: Why did the student shoot the professor?
Answ.: Because he knew too much.
Once while watching Joe Pass play in a classroom he stopped and asked ,"does anyone know the name of the chord I'm playing?"
He didn't. Too bad he didn't know you! He might've become someone!
(joak)
Well I hope your sense of humour is up to speed.
Once someone asked Chet Atkins if he knew much guitar theory.
Answer: "not enough to interfere with my playing"
What do you get when you combine a
diminished chord with an augmented
chord?
Answ. : a demented chord
ciao,
Dennis
It is said that Mozart once was asked by a man what one had to do to be able to write a symphony. Mozart told the man that he had to study harmony, counter point, etc. The man said: "But you wrote your first symphony when you were 10 years old. Had you done all this by then?" Mozart's short reply was: "No, but I did not have to ask anyone how to do it."
One of my favourite Danish caroonists, Storm P, once made a drawing where one of his characters said something like this: "An academic is on who must read about what other people know". After all I am a professor, so what did you expect?
